BLRbid.lol is one paid leaderboard for Bengaluru. Anyone can pay to put an X handle, an Instagram profile, a LinkedIn profile, or a product URL on it, filed under one of twenty-eight categories.

Rank is the bid — nothing else. There is no algorithm. There is barely a website.

There is no editorial judgement, no curation, and no algorithm deciding who sits where. The ladder is sorted by the total amount paid, in full, and by nothing else. Being higher up is not an endorsement of anything. Somebody just paid more than the person above them used to.

There are no accounts. There is no login. Your identity on the ladder is the handle or URL you paid with, and that is the only thing we know about you.

No ads. No algorithm. No revenue share. No refunds, obviously.

This exists because Bengaluru already runs an informal, unpriced version of this ranking — in group chats, in who got into which round, in whose name comes up first. This one just charges for the position and shows the receipt.

a founder’s note, the one time we break character: we have already rebuilt the part of this app that moves money more than once this month, before a single rupee changed hands. the ladder does not know and would not care.
